All my life, I have been amazed by my dad’s selflessness. He was the first to put his own wishes and dreams on the backburner to make sure that my mother, sister, and I all had everything we wanted and needed to be happy. After ten years of planning, April 9, 2016, My dad’s dream came true and he began building his very own Cobra Replica. This is a series is intended to follow the build process of the car and focus on my dad’s dream coming true. This one’s for you.
Here you will sneak peaks and previews at various pet projects I have been able to do. Check back often for more images!
A smirk, a smile, a frown. These expressions of the mouth all tell their own story. It can be something silly, seductive, sassy, mean, angry or something else entirely. The mouth can tell a lot about a person. In this project I wanted to put my large collection of lipsticks to use. By covering the eyes with the paint chips of matching colors it draws the viewer’s eye to the lips, where in traditional portraits the focus would be the eyes of the subject. Using the different colors to evoke different emotions, the expression of the mouth displays something resembling what I associate with each color. From calm to sassy, goofy to serious, the colors represent something that I feel with each of these color.
